白紙最後出現的地方是中國國內的一個收容所，一國兩制下以使失蹤人口難以透過法制去得到幫助。白紙作為一位母親無論是任人擺佈的農村婦女，或是離家出走要自主命運的人，在這國情下消失的命運，或者是她選擇不說話來作為一種包護或對抗。
Pak6 Zi3 eventually was found in an asylum in China. Under one country-two systems policy, it is difficult for missing persons to get help through the legal system. Pak6 Zi3, as a mother, whether she is a rural farming woman at the mercy of others, or someone who runs away from home and wants to make her own destiny, from her choice to be a taciturn person may be the reason behind to take the silence as a kind of protection or resistance, and ending up to her destiny disappears under such national conditions.
